Mounted on polished oak shield with ivorine plaque to front “E.H.Hook Green 7.11.31”
Additionally, to the rear of shield is a typed letter with a full description of the hunts chase, along with an old “Maymark’s of Tunbridge Wells” depository label (see images), plus “P Spicer & Sons Taxidermists Leamington” will be embossed (now hidden by the letter) and Spicers four-digit serial/stock book number 4843 which is still just visible above this note.
