With an interest in antiques, and especially Victorian taxidermy, from an early age, I established “The Victorian Taxidermy Co Ltd” in 1998. The company dealt in the finest taxidermy and proceeded to publish ‘A Record of Spicer’s’ in 2001, a book covering the history of this great taxidermy firm that once flourished in my home town, Leamington Spa.

Now semi retired with an historic house Circa 1700 (remodelled in 1864) full of antiques on the High Street in the Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden, my partner Rachel and I have decided to open up shop by turning back time and reverting our home Kendall House back into a shop (as illustrated on our home page) back then a cabinet makers known as ‘Badhams’ photo Circa 1912 .

Kendall House Antiques sell antiques that we love (the country house faded look, with a bit of attitude). Hopefully an antique shop that intrigues and excites, with classic nude oil paintings, some great taxidermy (still a fabulous thing to own), furniture, and objects of art. In all, a small shop with great things.
