Of cylindrical form, with strap cage and hide panels’ stitched and with hand hammered rivets. An unusual remarkable and charming artifact that needs to be back in an arts and crafts setting where it can be enjoyed and much coveted. Circa 1900.
Complete with hand stitched velum shade, chain and ceiling rose. Re wired with new silk braid, brass bulb holder and PAT safety checked, ready to install and enjoy.
Lantern 34cm high. Total drop (including chain, rose and lantern) is approximately 60 cm, which could be reduced by shorting the chain.
